RATES

You can find tutors who charge less than I do. It would be difficult, however, to find a tutor with as much experience, expertise, and sensitivity to the students he works with.

My academic tutoring rates vary according to the frequency and location of sessions.
Please contact me for the rate that applies to your particular situation and needs.

All my tutoring is currently online. (You may, however, get in touch to discuss the possibility of a special requests for in-person tutoring.)

For many years, I tutored students face-to-face in their homes in the Bay Area and then at the Lafayette Library. Since Covid, however, many people including me, realized that online one-on-one tutoring works great and is more convenient for everyone. It also allows you to schedule shorter sessions like 30 or 45 minutes, where needed. (I still mostly meet with students for regular hour-long sessions.)

Teaching classes to many students doesn’t work so well online, but one-on-one tutoring works very well. Both the student and I can share our screens, which can serve as a whiteboard that I write on with an electronic pen. Physical notes or textbooks can be sent via cell phone photos and also shared onscreen.

Please call or email to discuss if you have any concerns or questions.
